Data-driven health initiatives in the developing world
The people of Manabí face chronic and acute health challenges, exacerbated by the constant threat of natural disaster. In the wake of the devastating earthquake in 2016, access to care remains limited or unavailable. We provide essential treatments and medicine for underserved populations throughout the region.
Driven by the data collected by our researches, we design and implement community programs to improve the health and well-being of residents in and around Bahía. Our health education programs, music therapy for children and seniors, community gardens and sports classes inspire the community to live a healthier, more well-balanced life.
Volunteers and students are immersed in field work that directly impacts populations in need. Open to doctors, nurses, global health professionals and all students, our programs are structured to benefit not just the community in Ecuador, but offer impactful life and cultural experiences for those who come serve with us.
Volunteer in Ecuador!
Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization, providing the human capital that fuels our programs in Ecuador. Doctors, nurses, global health professionals and passionate students visit Bahía each year to serve, learn and participate in a transformative cultural experience.
